Racing Goes Safer will return to the iconic PRI Show for their 16th year. Thank you to the entire team at PRI and our incredible lineup of speakers for their continued support in our effort to share the importance and technology behind safety with the racing community.

 

This year we are pleased to welcome these top level safety experts from three of the world's most prestigious racing bodies! Dr. Terry Trammell (IndyCar and IRL Safety), Marco Petrilli (FIA), and John Patalak PhD, PE (NASCAR), will share developments in racing safety, with practical advice that you won't want to miss, Friday, December 13, at the PRI Show in Indianapolis.

 Dr. Trammell will speak on avoiding spinal injuries and heat stress health dangers, while John Patalak, NASCAR's Sr. Director of Safety Engineering, will tell the evolution of crash data recording at NASCAR, and how it can benefit all racers today.

   The FIA's Deputy Safety Director, Research and Vehicle Safety (Marco Petrelli) joins us from France to describe all the work that goes into developing F1 level helmet specifications.

​

   Also on the agenda is Stephane Fillestre of the FIA to describe the performance of the crash safety barriers used at many F1 tracks. We are pleased to welcome these top level safety experts from three of the world's most prestigious racing bodies!
