Presenters Doug Fehan and Dr. Terry Trammell know this subject well. Doug
was Program Manager for the GM Corvette program, leading the Pratt & Miller
team to eight class victories in two decades at the LeMans 24 hour race, while
Dr. Trammell knows the medical science behind performance degradation and
physiological dangers presented when drivers suffer from over-heating, or “heat stress”.

 

Doug Fehan will tell stories from his frontline experience of watching over the
well-being, and performance of drivers in the high temperature environment of an
enclosed, front-engine car, for extended periods. Over the years he has worked
with more than 20 different drivers of different ages, dimensions, conditioning, and personalities at LeMans, the Daytona 24, and the Sebring 12 hour races.
